I've spent the past two weeks in Xi'an, through a study tour organised by my university and Xi'an Jiaotong University. XJTU was so incredibly lovely and thoughtful. They didn't spare any expenses in looking after us. It felt like one long glorious camp. (Though with too many Chinese classes and - lest I say it - too much alcohol.)
